Use the Sign Up button in the top navigation and register with your email and a password. A free account lets you search all 50,000+ scholarships, filter results, bookmark scholarships, and track the ones you apply to.

Open Search Scholarships and use the filters to narrow by major, state, GPA, award amount, deadline status, and more. You can also browse public hub pages by state or by major without signing in. Each result shows the award amount, deadline, and eligibility details.

Bookmark a scholarship to save it, mark it as Applied once you submit, or exclude it to hide it from future results. Your saved, applied, and excluded scholarships live in your dashboard under My Scholarships.

Status is derived live from each scholarship’s application deadline rather than a stored label, so it never goes stale. "Open" means the deadline is today or later, "Closed" means it has passed, and "Not Specified" means the scholarship has no listed deadline (often rolling).

Your profile (major, state, GPA, activities, background, and more) powers AI scholarship matching and the browser extension’s form autofill. The more complete it is, the better the AI Scout can match you and the more application fields the extension can fill. Edit it any time under Profile in your dashboard.

Yes. Saved Searches let you store a set of filters and return to them later from your dashboard. The number of saved searches depends on your plan.

The Document Locker is private, encrypted storage for application files — transcripts, recommendation letters, and similar. The Document Locker accepts PDF, DOCX, TXT, and RTF files up to 10 MB each. Image formats are not supported. Files are served through short-lived signed links. Find it under Document Locker in your dashboard.

Use Forgot Password on the login screen to receive a reset link by email. If you are already signed in, you can change your password from your account settings.

Scholibuddy has a free plan plus paid Premium and Pro plans. Searching, filtering, bookmarking, and application tracking are free. Paid plans add AI scholarship matching, the AI essay tools, deadline email alerts, calendar sync, and result exports. See the Pricing page for the current features and prices of each plan.

Go to the Pricing page or Billing in your dashboard and choose a plan. Checkout and payments are handled securely by Stripe — Scholibuddy never sees your card details.

Open Billing in your dashboard, which launches the secure Stripe customer portal where you can cancel. You keep access until the end of your paid period, and there are no cancellation fees.

Your payment history and upcoming invoice are available under Billing in your dashboard, alongside the Stripe customer portal for managing your subscription and payment method.

When trials are enabled, eligible new users can start a Pro trial from the Pricing page. Availability can change, so the Pricing page always reflects the current offer.

The AI Scout searches the database against your profile and scores each scholarship from 0 to 100, with an expandable explanation of why it matched. It focuses you on awards you’re more likely to qualify for. AI matching is available on the Pro plan.

The Profile Builder is a guided chat that helps you fill in your profile a few fields at a time and shows how many scholarships you unlock as you go. You can also upload a document (such as a resume) and confirm the details it extracts before they’re saved.

No — the AI Writing Assistant helps you write: it brainstorms, drafts, gives structured feedback, and scores essays, and it can learn your writing style from samples you provide so drafts sound like you. You review and edit everything and remain the author. The essay tools (AI Essay Review and AI Essay Draft Generation) are available on the Pro plan only, not Premium.

Yes. The Essay Vault stores AI-generated drafts and essays you write yourself, with version history. How many you can store depends on your plan.

Your profile is used to match you with scholarships and to power your own AI tools. It is never sold. See the Privacy Policy for the full detail on how your data is handled.

When you click "Apply Now" on a scholarship in Scholibuddy, the Chrome extension helps fill the application form on the scholarship’s own website using your profile — names, dates, school details, and even essay fields — so you spend less time retyping the same information.

Only on application pages you open from a Scholibuddy "Apply Now" click, and only for a limited time. It stays inert on every other page by default — it does not run in the background across the web.

Install the Scholibuddy extension from the Chrome Web Store, then sign in to Scholibuddy in the same browser so the extension can use your profile. After that, start an application from Scholibuddy to let it help fill the form.

Some forms use custom or non-standard fields the extension can’t recognize, and some fields are intentionally left for you. Fill those in manually and always review every field before submitting. Make sure you started the application from Scholibuddy and that you’re signed in.

Some features (AI matching, essay tools, deadline alerts, calendar sync, exports) are part of the Premium and Pro plans, and some have usage limits that reset over time. When you hit a plan limit or a feature your plan doesn’t include, Scholibuddy shows an upgrade prompt explaining which plan unlocks it.

Deadline alerts are available on Premium and Pro plans. Make sure you’ve subscribed to alerts on the scholarship and set your reminder timing (7, 3, and/or 1 day before), then check your spam folder and that your email address is correct. Alert preferences live under Alert Preferences in your dashboard.

On a scholarship you’re tracking, use Add to Calendar to create a Google Calendar or Outlook event in one click, or download an .ics file for Apple Calendar — individually or in batches. Calendar sync is available on Premium and Pro plans.

Scholarship listings come from many sources and occasionally change on the provider’s side. If something looks off or a scholarship is missing, let us know through Contact Us and we’ll look into it.
