Identify a project or research focus that aligns with the Japan Foundation’s mission 2. Prepare a detailed proposal outlining the project’s objectives, scope, and expected outcomes 3. Include information about secured additional funding, if applicable 4. Submit the application to the Japan Foundation by the specified deadline 5. Await notification regarding the status of your proposal Please include how the project will contribute to building Japanese Studies at your institution as well as projected impact on the larger field. Please also include a detailed timeline of the planning stages through to completion, and when applicable, a schedule of events or itinerary.
