NYSOEA Environmental Studies Scholarship

The NYSOEA Environmental Studies Scholarship supports high school seniors and undergraduate students who are passionate about environmental learning and committed to careers that promote conservation, education, and outdoor leadership. This $500 award is intended to ease the financial burden of college-related expenses and to recognize young individuals dedicated to making a positive impact through environmental studies and related fields. Scholarship Details • One-time $500 scholarship award • Funds may be used for tuition, fees, books, or other education-related expenses • Winner will be notified by email around August 30st Eligibility Criteria • Must be a resident of New York State • Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 • Must be a high school senior or undergraduate student • Must be pursuing a major in environmental studies or a related field, such as: Botany Wildlife Science Environmental Education Outdoor Recreation Outdoor Adventure Leadership Science Education Environmental Conservation • Botany • Wildlife Science • Environmental Education • Outdoor Recreation • Outdoor Adventure Leadership • Science Education • Environmental Conservation Application Process 1.
