Every two years, Women & Hi Tech hosts the Leading Light Awards (LLA) to recognize women of achievement in STEM who made great innovations in their industries, and have shown qualities of expertise, professionalism, leadership, service, courage, and tenacity as they built their careers. Women receive awards for excellence as mentors, risk takers, and more. We also award scholarships during this ceremony, as do our sponsors. Scholarship Details • Held biennially during the Leading Light Awards ceremony • Recognizes women excelling in STEM through various award categories • Includes scholarship opportunities sponsored by Women & Hi Tech and partners • Scholarships and awards presented at a formal event celebrating women in STEM Eligibility Criteria • Must identify as a woman pursuing or advancing a career in STEM • Demonstrated excellence in leadership, innovation, mentorship, or risk-taking in STEM fields • Scholarship applicants may need to be enrolled in or accepted to an accredited academic or training program • Additional criteria may vary by individual scholarship or award Application Process 1.
