Armenian American Medical Society Scholarship

The AAMS awards scholarships annually to qualified Armenian students enrolled in a United States-accredited program in the fields of medical, pharmacy, dental, physician assistant, nursing, mental health, or other professional healthcare schools.Scholarship Details• Individual $5,000 scholarships awarded annually• Open to students pursuing education in healthcare-related fields• Awards are based on either academic merit or financial need• Since 2009, 113 scholarships have been granted nationwideEligibility Criteria• Must be of Armenian descent• Enrolled in a healthcare education program such as medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, mental health, or allied health• Demonstrated financial need or academic excellenceApplication Process1. Complete the scholarship application form available on the AAMS website2. Provide proof of Armenian heritage3. Submit academic transcripts demonstrating academic performance4. Include financial documentation if applying based on financial need5. Attach letters of recommendation and a personal statement describing career goals and commitment to healthcare6.
