Rhode Island College Miranda Scholarship

2.5+
Min GPA
Description

Thanks to the generosity of our community of donors, the Rhode Island College Foundation can offer an array of scholarships to help our students pay for their education. These scholarships are endowed, which means they provide a source of permanent funding for student support. We are a regional leader in performing and fine arts education. These scholarships are available to students interested in pursing a career in music, theatre, dance and the fine arts. Rhode Island College's Miranda Scholarship supports first-generation, under-served students in realizing their dreams of earning a bachelor’s degree in the performing arts. Rising juniors or seniors will have the opportunity to earn a two-year scholarship made possible by the Miranda Family in the honor of Lin-Manuel and his work. Applicants must be full-time juniors or seniors enrolled full-time who are majoring in music, theater or dance, have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and be eligible for a Federal Pell Grant.
