GlobalAir.com is passionate about supporting the future of aviation. The purpose of the Calvin L. Carrithers Aviation Scholarship is to provide $1,000 annually to four American students who are dedicated to blogging on a weekly basis about flight training, flying, school and their interest in aviation. Scholarship Details • Four $1,000 scholarships awarded annually • Open to U.S. students enrolled in university aviation programs • Recipients must blog weekly about aviation-related experiences • Provides a platform for professional exposure and school promotion Eligibility Criteria • Must be a student in a U.S.-based university aviation program • Must be a U.S. citizen • Strong interest in aviation and commitment to weekly blogging Application Process 1. Visit the GlobalAir.com website beginning March 1st 2. Complete and submit the online application form 3. Include details about your aviation goals and background 4. Demonstrate interest and ability in content creation or blogging 5. Submit application by the August 15th deadline Applicants must be willing to write a 200-500 word blog post a minimum of once a week throughout the school year while at school. Posts can be about aircraft, flying, ground training, weekend activities, internships, or anything that the student finds interesting and pertains to life in their particular aviation program.
