SPALS Scholarships

SPALS is committed to supporting the education of our future professionals. Applications are accepted for our two $1,500 scholarships throughout the year, however, they must be received by July 1st for consideration during that calendar year.Scholarship Details• Scholarship for graduate students in Speech Pathology or Audiology• Must be pursuing a Master's or Doctoral degree at a Louisiana university• Sponsored by SPALS, an organization that supports speech and hearing professionals in Louisiana schools• Promotes professional development, advocacy, and educational collaboration statewideEligibility Criteria• Must be a U.S. citizen• Must be a full-time entering or continuing graduate student• Must be enrolled in a Speech Pathology or Audiology program at a Louisiana university• Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2Application Process1. Confirm enrollment in a qualifying graduate program in Louisiana2. Ensure that you meet the minimum GPA and citizenship requirements3. Complete the SPALS scholarship application form (must be typed)4. Gather any additional required materials as indicated on the application5. Submit the completed application by the stated deadlineIf you are pursuing a career in speech pathology or audiology and studying at a Louisiana university, the SPALS Scholarship offers valuable support toward your graduate education.
