DeadlineDescription
The CIP Indigenous Communities Planning Scholarship is available to members of the Canadian Institute of Planners (CIP) who attend a Canadian planning program. Undergraduate or graduate students conducting research on advancing reconciliation and/or Indigenous planning are welcome to apply. Each year, the CIP/ICU Planning Student Trust Fund (CIP-PSTF) offers scholarships and bursaries to CIP student members who are enrolled full-time in accredited Canadian planning programs. In Canada, programs are accredited by the Professional Standards Board for the Planning Profession in Canada (PSB) and l'Ordre des urbanistes du Québec (OUQ). International students are eligible, as long as they meet the listed eligibility requirements and submit an application. All scholarships are open to both single and team submissions. An eligible student may be awarded a maximum of one (1) scholarship under the CIP-PSTF scholarship awards program over the course of their undergraduate and master's level studies. There are no offerings for PhD students. Free CIP student membership is available.
