As the Center's first and longest-running grant program, the Craft Research Fund is dedicated to supporting new and interdisciplinary research about craft in the United States. Since 2005, the program has supported 255 projects in 41 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico by distributing over $1,900,000.Scholarship Details• Grants of up to $15,000 available• Supports new and interdisciplinary research focused on craft in the United States• Open to projects in a variety of research fields and formats• Since inception, over $1.9 million awarded to 255 projects nationwide• Recipients join the Center for Craft Alumni Network, gaining access to resources, networking, and ongoing supportEligibility Criteria• Applicants must propose a research project related to craft in the United States• Open to new and interdisciplinary approaches• Must demonstrate potential for significant contribution to the field of craft research• Additional specific eligibility requirements may be provided by the Center for CraftApplication Process1.
