In its first two years, the FFA Future Leaders Scholarship Fund awarded 289 scholarships to students pursuing a wide range of agriculture-related studies and trade professions, from animal science and agricultural education to agricultural mechanics and welding. Scholarship Details • Awards 150 scholarships: 100 scholarships of $5,000 each for students attending trade schools or two-year colleges 50 scholarships of $10,000 each for students pursuing agriculture-related four-year degrees • 100 scholarships of $5,000 each for students attending trade schools or two-year colleges • 50 scholarships of $10,000 each for students pursuing agriculture-related four-year degrees • Application opens in early November and closes on January 9th. Eligibility Criteria • Must be a high school senior or currently enrolled in a trade school, two-year college, or four-year university • Planning to pursue a degree or certification in agriculture or skilled trades • Active FFA membership is preferred but not required • Demonstrated leadership and community involvement Application Process 1. Visit the National FFA Organization's scholarship page 2. Complete the online scholarship application form 3. Submit all required materials, including transcripts and letters of recommendation, by January 9th 4. Ensure all information is accurate and complete to avoid disqualification Scholarship recipients will have the opportunity to interview for career opportunities at Tractor Supply stores or distribution centers while pursuing their education. Additionally, Tractor Supply has earmarked internships at its Store Support Center in Brentwood, Tennessee, for scholarship recipients.
