Friends of Nursing Scholarship

Friends of Nursing Scholarship provides financial assistance to residents of any state who are working on an undergraduate or graduate degree in nursing at a school in Colorado. FON is accepting applications for the Spring Scholarship Awards from September 1, 2025 through November 7, 2025. Eligibility: Must be a resident of Colorado. Students must have a 3.0 or higher GPA. Students must be enrolled in a baccalaureate or higher degree program at participating Colorado Schools of Nursing (Adams State University, Colorado Christian University, Colorado Mesa University, Colorado State University – Pueblo, CU Colorado Springs, Helen and Arthur E. Johnson Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences, Metropolitan State University of Denver, Regis University/Loretto Heights School of Nursing, University of Colorado College of Nursing, University of Northern Colorado School of Nursing). Students must have attained Junior or Senior status in an undergraduate program or be enrolled in a graduate program in nursing (e.g., MS/MSN, DNP, PhD). Students must complete the application forms online and submit the application electronically by the deadline. In 2025, Friends of Nursing awarded $170,000 to 36 students from nine Colorado nursing programs.
