Furman Music Scholars

The Furman Music Scholars program is available to any high school senior applying for admission to Furman. They may submit their recorded audition or audition in person for consideration. Furman Music Scholars may major in any discipline. Furman Music Scholars are given priority consideration for music class registration, applied music instruction, and ensemble participation. This award is renewable for up to four years and is awarded in addition to Bell Tower Scholarships (merit-based scholarship) and Financial Aid (need-based aid). These awards are determined by both the quality of the audition and the core needs of the music program.
