Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo FFA Scholarship

Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo FFA Scholarship provide financial assistance to high school seniors who are members of FFA in Texas and plan to study a field related to agricultural or life sciences at a college or university in the state. The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo funds 70 four-year FFA scholarships at $20,000 per year through the Texas FFA program. Applications open January 1, 2026, with area submission deadlines ranging from March 31 to April 15, 2026. State interviews are held June 1, 2026 in Stephenville at Tarleton State University. Applicants must achieve a minimum 1000 SAT or 19 ACT and complete the 2026-2027 FAFSA. Selection is based on academic and FFA achievements as well as the member's performance in an interview process.
