Mary Lily Research Grants

The Mary Lily Research Grants support research utilizing the collections housed in the Sallie Bingham Center. These grants cover expenses related to travel to Duke University's Rare Book, Manuscript, and Special Collections Library, copying archival resources, and living expenses during the research period. Scholarship Details • Grants available for research using Sallie Bingham Center's collections • Funds can be used for travel, copying archival resources, and living expenses • Open to researchers focusing on women, gender, and sexuality history • Applicants from all academic backgrounds, including writers, artists, filmmakers, and journalists, are welcome Eligibility Criteria • Open to all individuals, regardless of academic status • Applicants must reside more than 100 miles from Durham, N.C. • Current Duke University students or employees are not eligible Application Process 1.
