The Scholarship Program for WIFLE Members Only provides financial assistance for college or graduate school to women who are interested in preparing for a career in law enforcement and are members of Women in Federal Law Enforcement (WIFLE) or sponsored by a member. The program is open to undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate students pursuing a career in federal law enforcement. Eligible students may major in Criminal Justice or a related discipline (e.g., social sciences, public administration, computer science, finance, chemistry, physics, linguistic arts, etc.) leading to a four-year degree. Students in graduate and postgraduate programs are also eligible; associate degree students are not eligible unless they transfer to a four-year program, and high school students are ineligible. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, must be a high school graduate, must maintain a minimum overall GPA of 3.0, and must be enrolled full-time at an accredited four-year college/university (or full-time at an accredited community college with plans to transfer to a four-year program). A complete application packet includes a minimum 500-word essay on goals to enter the profession, college transcripts, and a written statement of support from a community leader or police official. Scholarship awards are $2,500 each. Applications must be received by midnight, Friday, May 1, 2026, with notification of awards by Monday, June 1, 2026.
