Soroptimist's Live Your Dream Awards program is a unique education award for women who provide the primary financial support for their families. The Live Your Dream Awards give women the resources they need to improve their education, skills and employment prospects.Scholarship Details• Education award for women who are the primary financial providers for their families• Supports enrollment in vocational training or undergraduate degree programs• Offered by Soroptimist International of the Americas• Helps recipients enhance their skills and improve career prospects• Past recipients of this award or similar Soroptimist awards are not eligibleEligibility Criteria• Must be a woman who is the primary financial support for herself and her dependents• Must demonstrate financial need• Must be enrolled in or accepted to a vocational or undergraduate program• Must be motivated to pursue education and career goals• Must reside in an eligible Soroptimist member country or territory• Must not hold or be pursuing a graduate degree• Must not be a Soroptimist member, employee, or immediate family of either• Must submit original essay responses written without the use of AI toolsApplication Process1. Visit the Soroptimist Live Your Dream Awards website to access the application form2. Review all eligibility requirements to ensure qualification3. Complete the application, including essay responses in your own words4. Submit required documentation to verify financial need and enrollment5. Submit your application before the program’s published deadlineAward amounts vary, but club-level recipients receive an average of $1,000 from a local Soroptimist club. Each club selects one first-place recipient to move on to the next level of judging. Each club’s first-place recipient is eligible for a $3,000 or $5,000 region-level award. Each region selects one first-place recipient to move on to the next level of judging. The international level awards a $10,000 scholarship to one first-place recipient from the regional level.
