Description

The SSA Student Activist Scholarship is available to high school and college students. Applicants who demonstrate academic excellence and who are activists for secular values on their campus and/or in their community are encouraged to apply. Secular Student Activist scholarships are available to full-time students enrolled in high school, trade school, college, or university in the United States and are designed to support students who in addition to pursuing excellence in their academic studies are also activists for secular values on their campus and/or in their community. As part of the application process, applicants prepare a 30-60 second video in which they tell us a little bit more about one aspect of their application: about their secular identity, or why it is important to you, or why you are passionate about state/church separation or your activism, or highlighting something important to you. Deadline to apply is July 31, 2026.
