The Royal Cup Scholarship Competition

The Royal Cup Scholarship Competition is available to high school seniors. Students who have been academically successful and plan to attend Warner University to seek an undergraduate degree are welcome to participate in the competition. The Royal Cup scholarship competition is hosted by Warner to celebrate academic achievements. Everyone who competes gets a scholarship, but one lucky winner will win a full tuition scholarship. To qualify for participation, students must have earned one of the following: 3.5 weighted or un-weighted GPA, 1130 SAT, 23 ACT, or top 15% of their class. All attendees of the Royal Cup receive a $14,000 scholarship for four years, and attendees who place in the top 10 receive a $15,000 scholarship for four years. To register, participants must submit a resume, two letters of recommendation (not from a family member), and a personal essay describing what makes them unique and what Warner University should expect out of the student in the form of a written document (1-2 pages), PowerPoint presentation (10 slides), or a short video (2-3 minutes). On the day of Royal Cup, participants are formally interviewed with the other participants in small groups and write another essay with a prompt given on the spot. The 2026 competition will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026.
