Theodore C. & Minnie C. Swanson Memorial Scholarship

The Theodore C. & Minnie C. Swanson Memorial Scholarship is available to graduating seniors and graduates of a high school in Phelps County, Nebraska. Students studying for a degree in agriculture, a medical-related field, ministry, or theology are welcome to apply. Resident of Phelps County, Nebraska. Graduating senior or graduate of a high school in Phelps County, Nebraska. Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree. Studying in agriculture, a medical-related field, ministry, or theology. First preference is given to graduates of a Phelps County, Nebraska high school who are enrolled at an Evangelical Lutheran Church of America Seminary. The second preference is given to graduates of Bertrand High School who have completed two years toward an undergraduate degree in a medical-related field. Tertiary preference is given to graduates of Bertrand High School who are studying for an associate or bachelor's degree in agriculture.
