The University of California-Santa Cruz Regents Scholarships are available to entering undergraduates. In addition to a monetary award, scholars receive priority enrollment and priority University housing placement, provided all housing requirements and deadlines are met. To be eligible for the Regents Scholarship, you must be a U.S. citizen, an eligible non-citizen, an international student with a valid visa, or a students qualifying under AB130 or AB131. Students may contact Financial Aid for more information and inquiries about the application. Regents scholarships are open to first-year and transfer students, including international, non-resident, and California residents, including those qualifying under the AB540 exemption. Award amounts are $5,000 per year and renewable as long as Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) is met. For first-year freshmen, that totals $20,000 paid over 4 years. For entering transfers, $10,000 over 2 years. Financial need is not required.
