The ANNA Evidence-Based Practice Project Grants aims to fund qualified nephrology nurses' work to translate research into practice in support of developing evidence-based nephrology nursing practice and demonstrating the value of nephrology nursing in improving patient outcomes. The principal investigator must be an ANNA member for one year prior to applying for the research grant and remain a full member of ANNA for the duration of the research project. If two or more individuals are applying as co-investigators, all must be members of ANNA for the duration of the research project with at least one of the co-investigators being a full member, and others being either full or associate members. Candidates must be actively involved in nephrology nursing related health care services. The principal or co-principal investigator(s) who are full members of ANNA must provide evidence of their experience and credentials demonstrating the ability to complete the evidence-based practice project and commitment to nephrology nursing. Eligible projects must be focused on the development of an evidence base for nephrology nursing and relevant to nephrology nursing practice, using the ANNA Nephrology Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice (2022) as a guide. The project may be a new endeavor or one already in progress. The Project Proposal must include a cover letter; ANNA Evidence-Based Practice Project Grant Application Checklist; ANNA Evidence-Based Practice Project Grant Application Cover Sheet; ANNA Evidence-Based Practice Project Grant Application Co-Investigator Consultant/Collaborator Sheet; budget and budget justification; ANNA Grant Application Checklist; abstract; research or project plan; timeline for research/project completion; references; appendices; curriculum vitae or resume; personal research articles (if available); and the applicant's professional headshot. The First Proposal may be submitted on August 31, 2024. The Final Proposals must be submitted on November 15, 2024. Please visit the award's website for more information.
