The annual Ocean Awareness Contest empowers young people to explore environmental issues through artistic expression and creative communication. This global contest invites students to create works in various categories, including visual art, creative writing, film, interactive & multimedia, performing arts (music & dance), and poetry & spoken wordScholarship Details• Open to students worldwide, ages 11-18• Students can submit work in categories such as visual art, creative writing, film, music, dance, and poetry• This year’s theme is "Connections to Nature: Looking Inside, Going Outside"• Encourages exploration of the natural world through generational knowledge, human health, urban environments, resiliency, and moreEligibility Criteria• Open to students ages 11-18 who are enrolled in middle school or high school (or homeschool equivalent)• Students who have started college or university are not eligible• Proof of age, identity, or eligibility may be required• Participants under age 13 must submit a COPPA Parent/Guardian Consent FormApplication Process1.
