Food Dreams Scholarship

Founded in 2016, Food Dreams is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit foundation that aims at helping passionate individuals throughout the world gain access to culinary education and career opportunities in the restaurant industry that would otherwise be out of reach. By working with industry-leading chefs in both Jean-Georges kitchens and celebrated kitchens worldwide, Food Dreams students will have unparalleled access to knowledge and practices that set a sound foundation for a successful and long-lasting career. If you're a student, and you're interested in a career in the culinary industry, we encourage and invite you to apply. The Food Dreams Scholarship will be eligible for students who have graduated high school (or GED) and have demonstrated a financial need and are in a good academic and disciplinary standing (must have a 3.0 GPA). All candidates will agree to commit to a period of studying followed by a Food Dreams Job Program at several Jean-Georges Vongerichten's properties (subject to restaurant needs), for a period of at least one year.
