Coastal Bend Community Foundation Scholarship

The Coastal Bend Community Foundation Scholarship supports the educational goals of graduating seniors from the Coastal Bend Community Foundation (CBCF) area of Texas. Students who are seeking an associate or bachelor's degree at a college or university in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. The CBCF Online Scholarship Application is open each year from December 15th – March 1st, and scholarships awarded will be for the following academic year. Scholarships are available only to students who graduated from a high school in one of the counties in the CBCF Service Area: Aransas, Bee, Jim Wells, Kleberg, Nueces, Refugio and San Patricio. Scholarships are available for high school graduates attending 2 and 4 year colleges and universities as well as accredited vocational schools; certain scholarships are available for students already attending college. There is no charge to apply for CBCF scholarships. Awards vary by fund: scholarships range from $100 to up to $16,000, with the average award being $1,000.
