Description

Established in 1942, Regeneron STS is the oldest and most prestigious science and mathematics competition for high school seniors, identifying future leaders in STEM and providing an important forum for original research that is recognized and reviewed by a national jury of professional scientists. High school seniors from around the United States accept the challenge of conducting independent science, math or engineering research and completing an entry for the Regeneron STS annually. Applicants may be over 13 years of age and have legal parental or guardian consent to submit the application and participate; or be 18 years of age or older; or be an emancipated minor. On the application deadline, applicants may also be a student (of any citizenship) who is enrolled in and attending secondary school and who maintains full-time residence in the United States and its territories; or a United States citizen enrolled in their final year of secondary school on the application deadline date attending eligible schools. Applicants must complete individual research projects to enter Regeneron STS. Research conducted as part of a pre-collegiate student team project is not eligible for Regeneron STS.
