Geneva Fund Scholarship

The Geneva Fund is committed to supporting young mothers who became pregnant as teenagers or are currently pregnant and seeking to pursue a four-year college education. This scholarship provides financial assistance and encouragement to help young mothers build a brighter future for themselves and their children. The scholarship aims to empower women to achieve their academic and career goals despite the challenges of early motherhood. Scholarship Details • Scholarship award is $5,000 annually, distributed over four consecutive years • Funds are dispersed at the beginning of each enrolled academic year • Scholarship may be forfeited if the student discontinues enrollment at their selected four-year college (school transfers may be approved at the discretion of the scholarship committee) Eligibility Criteria • Must have been a teen mother (gave birth at age 19 or younger) or be currently pregnant • Must be pursuing or planning to enroll in a four-year college or university • May apply as a first-time student, transfer student, or returning student who previously paused education due to parenting responsibilities • Must have or be in the process of obtaining a high school diploma or GED • Should demonstrate ambition, resilience, and a strong desire to complete a degree program Application Process 1. Complete the scholarship application form 2. Submit a personal essay (500 words) explaining educational and career aspirations, how the scholarship will impact your future, and the challenges you’ve faced and overcome as a teen mother 3. Provide proof of enrollment or acceptance to a four-year college (if available at the time of application) 4.
