Description

The Grand Rapids Community Foundation's Armando "Frank" Quaglia Veteran's Scholarship is for students from Kent or Ionia counties who are a veteran or family member (spouse, child, or step-child) of a veteran of the United States Armed Forces attending an accredited four-year college or university full-time majoring in engineering or a medical/healthcare field. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA and be either graduate students or at least incoming third-year undergraduates. Scholarship recipients are selected by the Grand Rapids Community Foundation (GRCF) and applicants follow the GRCF process. Applications run from December until the due date. By connecting people, their passions and our region’s resources, Grand Rapids Community Foundation and our partners work toward an inclusive and equitable West Michigan. Over the last century, the Community Foundation has used the tools of philanthropy to respond to community needs. Today, to carry out our North Star and overcome racial, social and economic inequities, we must respond with intention and care. Our partners inspire, motivate and guide our work.
