The Habib Kothawala Scholarship will be awarded annually to one medical student pursuing a Medical degree (MD/DO). Applicants must be enrolled in an osteopathic/allopathic medical school located in the U.S. Applicants must be attending a U.S. accredited institution. Applicants must be U.S. Citizens, Permanent Residents or Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) students. Applicant's Expected Family Contribution (EFC) or Student Aid Index (SAI), per the FAFSA Student Aid Report, must be less than or equal to 50,000.
