IBA Underclassman Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors who are members of the International Junior Brangus Breeders Association (IJBBA) and planning to attend college in any state with a major in any field. This program is open to graduating high school seniors who have been IJBBA members for at least 1 full year and have a GPA of 2.0 or higher. Applicants must be planning to enroll at a college or university in any state. They must be able to demonstrate a record of promotion of Brangus through achievement in junior activities, shows, and events, but there are no restrictions on their college major. They must also submit 500word essays on 1) which President of the United States they would choose to meet and why; and 2) challenges they see in the beef industry.
