The Russell M. Nelson Scholarship is the most prestigious scholarship offered at Brigham Young University. Recipients are among the most academically gifted students who enter the university. Scholarship Details • Awarded to 50 entering freshman. • Recipients must demonstrate academic excellence as well as strong character, leadership, and adherence to Church standards. Eligibility Criteria • Must be an entering freshman student at Brigham Young University. • Must exemplify the values in the "For the Strength of Youth" pamphlet, including character, leadership, integrity, and devotion to the Church. Application Process 1. Complete the scholarship application at Brigham Young University. 2. The scholarship committee will review your scholarship application essay.
