Each year the Mahoney Family Foundation awards scholarships to deserving professionals. Grants of up to $5,000 per individual are designed to help offset the financial burden of required Continuing Education Units or Advanced Degrees incurred by our Nurses and Teachers. Visit the website to access the application portal. 2. Complete the online application form, providing details about your current profession and educational goals. 3. Submit documentation of your enrollment in a CEU program or advanced degree. 4. Provide a personal statement detailing how the scholarship will support your career and community impact. 5. Submit any additional required documents by the stated deadline. The Mahoney Family Foundation is a 501c3 organization created to support the ongoing education and training of those in the Nursing and Teaching professions through scholarship programs. Additional details from The Mahoney Family Foundation: Applicants must currently be employed as a licensed full-time Nurse or Teacher with at least 3 years of experience, currently enrolled in a college or university with classes scheduled, and must be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States of America. Scholarships are awarded 3 times per year for the Spring, Summer, and Fall Semesters. Submission deadlines are May 1 for the Summer Semester, August 1 for the Fall Semester, and December 15 for the Spring Semester. Scholarships are paid directly to the school or organization providing the education/training and are granted for only one semester at a time. The Foundation is unable to fund undergraduate degrees. Preference is given to applicants who have not previously been awarded a grant from the Foundation. Required application materials include a Professional Development Plan (with personal statement), enrollment verification with official class schedule and itemized tuition statement, and a signed letter of support from the applicant's Principal/Supervisor on official stationery.
