The Mary Hill Davis Ethnic/Minority Scholarship provides financial assistance for college to ethnic minority residents of Texas who are members of Texas Baptist congregations. The purpose of the Mary Hill Davis Scholarship program is to provide support and encouragement to Texas Baptist ethnic/minority students who will serve as future lay and vocational ministry leaders in Texas Baptist ethnic/minority churches. The scholarship program is designed to assist students pursuing a Bachelor's Degree at a Texas Baptist University. Each eligible full-time student (12 or more hours) will receive $1,000 per semester, and each eligible part-time student (minimum of 6 hours) will receive $500 per semester. The maximum award time is two semesters. The application deadline is April 15. The 2026 application cycle is closed; the 2027 scholarship application will be available in January 2027.
