Maryland Grain Producers Scholarship

Maryland Grain Producers Scholarship provides financial assistance to residents of Maryland whose family is involved in the production of grain and are interested in studying agriculture at a college in any state. The Maryland Grain Producers have approved funding up to $20,000 in scholarships for the 2026 to 2027 school year, with recipients awarded in-person at the Maryland Commodity Classic. Three scholarship categories are offered: the Maryland Grain Honoree Scholarship ($3,000) for farmer members with a student attending school working towards a degree in agriculture; the Maryland Grain Membership Scholarship ($2,000) for children of farmer members attending a secondary education institute, with any major; and the Maryland Grain Production Scholarship ($1,000) for non-members from a grain production farm attending a secondary education school and studying agriculture. Applications are now closed; applicants will be notified by March 1st.
