Miami University Merit awards for Non-Resident Transfer Students

The Merit awards for Non-Resident Transfer Students is available to students admitted in the fall or spring semester and with a minimum of 12 college hours. Students must have a College GPA of 3.25-3.80. Transfer students who are in their first semester of college and enrolled full-time at their current institution, but do not have final grades at the time of application, may be eligible for a transfer merit scholarship based on their final high school GPA. Please visit the scholarship's website for more information. For the Fall semester, International students must apply by June 1 and domestic students must apply by August 1. For the Spring semester, International students must apply by December 1 and domestic students must apply by January 1. The Transfer Merit Recognition Scholarship for non-residents awards up to $14,000 annually (3.80+ GPA with 12+ college hours). Students enrolled less than full-time, those attending a regional campus, and students who have already earned a bachelor's degree are not eligible. Renewal requires maintaining full-time enrollment on the Oxford campus and a 3.0 cumulative GPA. No separate scholarship application is necessary.
