Michael Anthony Willemsen Public Service Scholarship Fund

The Michael Anthony Willemsen Public Service Scholarship is open to applicants who must be registered as a student at a Monterey County high school and graduating high school senior. The scholarship recipient must demonstrate the desire to pursue a career in the Public Service field. The scholarship may be renewed for up to four years. Scholarship Guidelines: - Amount: Up $12,000/year - Renewable up to 4 years - Up to 2 scholarships/year - Open to 1st Generation college applicants - Minimum GPA: 3.0 - Documented financial need required To claim the award funds, the winning student must: - Enroll as a student at Cal State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB) - As a full-time student by Fall (or) Spring semester after receiving the award - Send the Claim Form provided by CFMC along with official proof of his or her enrollment to the Community Foundation.
