Mike Wallace Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors who are interested in majoring in a communications-related field in college to prepare for a career in television journalism. Awarded to a student pursuing a career in television journalism, the Mike Wallace Memorial Scholarship is funded by a grant from CBS News in honor of longtime correspondent Mike Wallace (1918-2012). It is presented each year at the News & Documentary Emmy® Awards. The current cycle's national application deadline is March 2, 2026.
