Minnesota Chapter American Public Works Association College Scholarship

The Minnesota Chapter American Public Works Association College Scholarship provides financial assistance to upper-division students who are residents of Minnesota or members of the Minnesota Chapter of the American Public Works Association (APWA) and preparing for a career in public works at a college in any state. For the 2026-2027 cycle, one college scholarship of $5,000 and five college scholarships of $3,000 each are awarded. Applicants must be entering their third (junior) year or higher and pursuing a public works-related degree such as civil engineering, public works administration, construction management, or another closely related curriculum. Consideration is given to financial need, academic achievement, character, participation in professional organizations, and previous work experience in public works. The application period for 2026-2027 is closed; the 2027-2028 application period will open in March 2027.
