The Morris L. Lichtenstein Jr. Endowed Scholarship is open to incoming freshmen students admitted to Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. The total award is $51,000 ($12,750 per year) and is renewable for up to eight consecutive fall and spring semesters toward the completion of the first undergraduate degree. Incoming Freshmen ApplyTexas admission applications submitted by February 1 will serve as scholarship applications for the Lichtenstein Scholarship, with a priority deadline of October 1. Students must be in the top 7 percent of their high school rank and must have an ACT score of 32 and up or an SAT score of 1390 and up to be considered. High school transcripts and test scores must be postmarked by February 1 to be eligible for the award. A FAFSA must be completed annually by March 1. Recipients must maintain at least a 3.0 overall GPA at the end of each academic year (fall, spring, and summer) and must complete at least 12 semester credit hours at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi each Fall and Spring semester, with no break in enrollment or eligibility.
