The Rehoboth Antiquarian Society (RAS) Scholarship provides financial assistance of up to $2,000 (one-time award) to residents of the Rehoboth area of Massachusetts who are high school seniors or undergraduate students pursuing a degree in museum or library studies, including museum or library science, history, archaeology, anthropology, conservation, restoration, preservation, and related fields. Applications for programs other than traditional academic programs will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Applicants must reside in one of the following communities: Attleboro, Dighton, North Attleboro, Norton, Rehoboth, Seekonk, Swansea, Somerset, Barrington, Bristol, Cumberland, East Providence, Pawtucket, Warren, or have a significant connection to Rehoboth, the Carpenter Museum, or the Blanding Library. The funds will be applied to the second semester of the 2026-2027 academic year. Applications must be received by Friday, June 19, 2026. The Scholarship Committee will be scheduling in-person interviews during the final week of June. All applicants will be informed of the Committee's decision by August 31, 2026.
