The Renaissance Scholars Program - Winter is open to high school seniors who reside in Illinois or Oregon, college students attending a 4-year school in Illinois or Oregon, commuity college students attending a school in those states who are planning to transfer to a 4-year school, or students attending Elizabeth City State University, Stillman College, or North Carolina Central University. Students who are the first in their families to attend a 4-year college are encouraged to apply. Recipients are chosen for their demonstrate strength of character and a strong work ethic.
