San Francisco Chapter WTS Community College/Trade School Scholarship

The San Francisco Chapter WTS Community College/Trade School Scholarship provides financial assistance to female students at junior colleges and trade schools in the San Francisco area who are interested in preparing for a career in transportation. This program is open to women enrolled in an associate or technical degree program in a transportation-related field (e.g., transportation engineering, planning, finance, or logistics). Applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA and be interested in a career in transportation. A 500-word statement about career goals after graduation and why the applicant should receive the scholarship award is required. Minority women are particularly encouraged to apply. Selection is based on transportation involvement and goals, job skills, and academic record. Eligible students include College Freshman and College Sophomore pursuing a Bachelor's Degree. The scholarship amount is $5,000.
