The Organization for Social Media Safety’s Social Media Safety Video Essay Contest is an opportunity for students to raise awareness about the dangers of social media and how to stay safe. By submitting a video essay, participants will contribute to the collective understanding of social media safety while competing for a cash prize. This contest encourages creativity, allowing you to present your ideas through a story, demonstration, opinion, or any other format that educates the public about social media-related dangers. Eligibility Criteria • U.S. residents and Washington, D.C. • Ages 13 to 22. • One original video submission per person. • Submissions must be new, original work and cannot use third-party material.
