Description

This scholarship program provides financial support to high school seniors, graduates, and current college students entering a full-time college program within one year of the application deadline. Scholarships of $1,000 per semester (up to two semesters per year) are available to assist with tuition, fees, room and board, and educational materials. Scholarship Details • $1,000 awarded per semester (maximum of two awards per year)• Funds may be used for tuition, fees, room and board, books, and educational materials• Scholarship funds are paid directly to the college or university• Deadlines: July 1 for Fall Semester, December 1 for Spring Semester• Award recipients must re-qualify each semester by maintaining eligibility Eligibility Criteria • High school GPA of at least 2.8 (on a 4.0 scale) or ACT score of 18 for first-time freshmen• College upperclassmen and transfer students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0• Demonstrated financial need• Must be enrolled full-time (unless part-time status is required to complete degree)• Must be in good academic standing (no suspensions)• Preference given to students with a record of civic engagement or those intending to pursue law Application Process 1. Submit a completed scholarship application by the appropriate deadline (July 1 or December 1)2. Include sealed official transcripts or test scores meeting GPA or ACT requirements3. Provide documentation of financial need4. Register for classes as required by the college or university5. Foundation pays tuition directly to the school or to the student for books/materials (with receipts) Re-Qualification Process 1. Submit a college transcript showing term grades no later than 15 days after the end of the semester2. Maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA for the term previously funded by the scholarship3. Follow re-qualification instructions provided with each award This scholarship offers a reliable source of support for students committed to higher education and community service.
