The Trotter Project's Chef Homaro Cantu Scholarship

The Trotter Project's Chef Homaro Cantu Scholarship provides financial assistance to students working on a degree in culinary arts or hospitality management at a college in any state. Named in honor of The Trotter Project's founding president, the award recognizes outstanding Hospitality Management students attending any accredited college or university in the USA, with scholarships up to $10,000. Applicants must have a 2.5 or higher GPA (unweighted) and submit a complete online application including a resume highlighting community service/jobs/internships, an official transcript displaying cumulative GPA, a letter of recommendation, and a video (not exceeding three minutes) expressing how they pursue excellence, interest in hospitality management, individuality, creativity, and passion. Applications for the 2026 academic year closed on May 15, 2026 (11:59 p.m. CST). Past recipients are eligible to reapply.
