Description

The Trotter Project offers scholarships in culinary arts, hospitality, and agriculture to students nationwide, supporting their education at colleges and universities in the U.S. The Trotter Project Pursuit of Excellence Scholarship is awarded to incoming culinary arts/hospitality students who are enrolled in an accredited college/university in the U.S. Applicants must have a minimum 2.5 GPA. In addition, a video expressing your interest in the culinary arts/hospitality field is also required. Applications open in the winter. The number of recipients will vary. Eligibility requirements: Must have 2.5 or higher GPA (unweighted); Must be a high school senior, incoming or current college student to qualify for scholarship; Must be attending an accredited college/university in the USA; No age restrictions — applicants can apply at any point during their education. Required documents: Resume highlighting community service, jobs, internships; Transcript displaying cumulative GPA weighted/unweighted; Letter of recommendation from someone who can discuss applicants academic achievements and/or character; VIDEO expressing how you pursue excellence, your interest in culinary arts/baking pastry, hospitality management or food science agriculture (videos should not exceed three minutes). Current college students must also submit documentation from college/university demonstrating a remaining balance/financial need. Award: Up to $10,000. Everything must be submitted no later than 11:59 p.m CST, May 15th, 2026. Past Trotter Project scholarship recipients are eligible to reapply for consideration.
