University of Denver Pioneer Scholarship

The University of Denver Pioneer Scholarship is awarded to students based on the academic information submitted with the admission application, and all students who apply for admission to DU are automatically considered. Students who live on campus and were awarded a merit scholarship are eligible to receive the $3,000 Residence Hall Grant. Merit scholarships at DU for first-year students range from $15,000 to $40,000 per year; these amounts are fixed for all four years. To remain eligible, recipients must be enrolled full-time (at least 12 credits per quarter) and maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress. Early Decision applicants receive an additional $5,000 scholarship in addition to their merit scholarship (excluding students receiving athletic aid and music majors).
