Verner E. Suomi Scholarship Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Physical Sciences

Verner E. Suomi Scholarship Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Physical Sciences provides financial assistance to high school seniors in Wisconsin who plan to attend a branch of the University of Wisconsin system and major in the physical sciences. This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in Wisconsin and planning to attend a campus of the University of Wisconsin. Applicants must be planning to major in the physical sciences, especially astronomy, earth science, environmental science and engineering, meteorology, oceanography, physics, or science and mathematics education. Financial need is not considered in the selection process.
