Wisconsin Automobile and Truck Dealers Association Scholarship

Wisconsin Automobile and Truck Dealers Association Scholarship provides financial assistance and necessary tools to Wisconsin residents studying automotive fields at Technical Colleges in the state. The WATDA Foundation annually awards 70 to 100 scholarships to students attending Wisconsin Technical Colleges for Automotive, Auto Collision, Diesel, and Motorcycle programs (*FABCO, Ag and Heavy Equipment are not eligible programs). Eligible applicants are high school graduates interested in one- or two-year programs, as well as current technical college students in the first year of a two-year program. Applicants must be currently working or committed to work in a member dealership, have a valid driver's license with a good driving record, and must be full-time students attending a Wisconsin Technical College. Awards are $750 per semester for up to four semesters, totaling up to $3,000, with the possibility of receiving a Snap-on tool set. No FAFSA or income information is required to apply. Scholarships are awarded in the spring and summer with funding to begin with the fall semester. Over 2,400 scholarships have been awarded since the program began.
