AgWest Customer Scholarships

The AgWest Customer Scholarship supports graduating high school seniors and college students pursuing higher education in the fall. With a one-time $2,500 award, renewable for an additional year based on academic performance, the scholarship offers financial support for any field of study. Funds are directly payable to the recipient's financial aid department.Scholarship Details• $2,500, renewable for one year with a minimum 2.7 GPA.• Funds are paid directly to the financial aid department of the recipient's institution.• Open to students pursuing any curriculum.• High school seniors and college students entering their sophomore, junior, or senior year are eligible.Eligibility Criteria• Applicant must be an active AgWest customer, a dependent of an active customer, or a son or daughter of an employee of an active AgWest customer.• Applicants must provide the customer or business name on the application.• Must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident.• Must be enrolled at least part-time (6+ credits) in a higher education institution in the upcoming fall term.• Grandchildren of AgWest customers or customer employees are not eligible.• Children or grandchildren of AgWest employees or board members are not eligible.• College applicants: Must be entering their sophomore, junior, or senior year in the fall.• Cannot be a past AgWest scholarship winner.Application Process1. Write an essay (one page) discussing your goals and reasons for pursuing a college education, including your desired career after earning your degree.
